Hi I am Sarah and I have worked in dentistry since 1989. I started work as a Dental nurse in a small NHS practice in Stockport and once qualified I was asked if I would like to tutor dental nurses, in order to help them gain their National Dental Nurse Qualification. During this time I gained my NVQ in Teaching and 7307 Teaching Certification, the assessor awards D32 and D33 and NVQ Customer Service level 3 qualification.

In 2001 I decided to return to practice and worked as Head Receptionist and eventually promoted to Practice Manager, where I gained the NVQ level 3 Practice Manager Qualification. I joined 32 Whites in May 2011, looking for a new challenge and something closer to home.

I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice, a lot of my work being 'behind the scenes' which includes personnel, finance, marketing and planning - So I have to be very organised, calm and flexible. I am very happy to help out on Reception, I love being able to assist with patient queries and, like all the staff at 32 Whites, making sure that the patients journey is to high satisfaction. Occasionally you may find me in the surgery as I am still GDC registered.

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 daughters. I enjoy tap dancing, visiting the theatre, reading and walking- especially by the Devonshire coast.
